WEAVINGS FROM ATELJE 61
Atelje 61 is a weaving workshop and museum for image weaving in Novi Sad, Serbia.
For 60 years now, the workshop's professional weavers have realized motifs, made by both Yugoslav, later Serbian, and a broad international section of artists. The workshop houses a large museum collection of these tapestries, which draw a historical sectional view of modern tapestry.
Curator of the exhibition is weaver and art historian Ulrikka Mokdad, who has a thorough knowledge of the workshop, its history and activities. Read more

Artapestry6
It has been three years since we were last able to present the abundance of expression in woven tapestries that make up ARTAPESTRY. 40 weavers from all over Europe are participating in the triennial this time, giving us an impression of the currents that weaving art is currently preoccupied with. For the sixth time, a jury under the European Tapestry Forum has selected the most beautiful, skilfully executed and most creative tapestries from more than 100 submitters. The first prize this time went to Livia Papai from Hungary for the weaving "Way to light". In addition to the European weavers, two guest exhibitors from the USA have been invited: Helena Hernmarck and Nancy Koenigsberg, two prominent artists who give an impression of what is happening on the weaving scene outside Europe. Walking Landscapes
10 artists walk in Silkeborg. One artist every day for 10 days. For 12 hours, they walk out into the countryside and invite you to follow - in the landscape or on live stream.
The 10 artists will walk in different places in Silkeborg Municipality, both along defined tourist paths such as the brand new Silk Route and Trækstien (Old Bargerman's Path) as well as along more personal tracks in the landscape. Read more

COAST - Gjerrild Beach - Porto Covo
In the exhibition, the artists attack the theme COAST from different positions and with different art expressions. You get around different aspects of the concept and natural phenomenon coast, specifically a Danish coast and a Portuguese coast. The contributing visual artists and professionals are: Visual artist Erik Gamdrup Jensen, painter Irene Grundel, historian Asmus Gamdrup Petersen Jensen and film photographer Louise McLaughlin. Hold your horses
The exhibition has a cultural-historical focus and is presented as visual documentary material. The more than a hundred photographs reproduce all kinds of artistic sculptural depictions of the horse in Denmark, from the Middle Ages to our own time. Photos: Martha Velasques. Curator: Chr. HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN'S FAIRY TALES IN CUBAN
Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales are known all over the world, also in Cuba. In the capital Havana lives a magazine illustrator and illustrator - Ricardo Reyes Ramos - with the artist name Richar. He is both a trained draftsman and an economist, born in 1961.
Confronted with Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales, which we perceive as very Danish, Richar has made more than 20 large drawings as illustrations for various of the fairy tales: What the father does is always the right thing to do. The journey of the blue salmon
It is a life's work that is summed up in this large solo exhibition of completely new works, where visual artist Pia Andersen experiments with new formats and expression media, in parallel with the more classical painting. Some of the new formats are glass works made in collaboration with Per Hebgaard's workshop, others are quite large ceramic works, which she has created in collaboration with a workshop in Spain. Motivationally, the artist uses several of his expressions in his own work. This can be seen, among other things, in the fact that motif elements and colors that have previously appeared in her works now find their way into the new works in a different way. Read more

Bjørn Kromann-Andersen - retrospective exhibition
Sculptor and visual artist Bjørn Kromann-Andersen (b. 1954) has throughout his oeuvre so far created a large number of works that in one way or another have had man's relationship to nature as a common focal point. He has had a free relationship with sculptural means of expression, so his works are often carried by materials adapted to the context in which they are created. Some of the artist's works have been site-specific and temporary. Read more

All flesh is like grass - Borgny Svalastog
Borgny Farstad Svalastog (b. 1943, N) works in many different materials such as drawing, textiles, graphics, pastels, sculpture and installation. For many, she is especially known for textiles and embroidery, among other things she has made bishop's robes and church textiles for more than 40 churches, primarily in Norway. Read more

Off Stage
Staged portraits of famous Danish actors, seen through the camera lenses of four Danish art photographers: Søren Solkær, Ole Christiansen, Jens Juul and Tune Andersen. The portrayed are typically depicted outside the contexts you usually know them from, and in more close-up portraits. Read more

Drawing atelier
In this workshop exhibition, professional Danish visual artists focus on the art of drawing and nature's path into art. In the first half of the period, there will be 5 workshops with 5 different visual artists, who each work for open curtain during the art center's opening hours. This allows the audience to follow the artistic processes quite closely, and have a chat with the artists. You can also follow the process of assembly, where the exhibition technician and artist work together, and from the sidelines experience how an exhibition is gradually formed. Drawing land takes place in the panorama hall. Read more
