Cafe Søvilla

Cafe Søvilla is located in the beautiful red wooden building in the park by the Art Center Silkeborg Bad.

Here you can e.g. buy coffee and cake, cold draft beer from Carlsberg, organic drinks, Okkels Ice Cream - and delicious organic pizzas if you're hungry.

Opening hours: Saturday-Sunday at 12-17.

Søvilla originally housed rooms for spa guests who visited Silkeborg Bad. The building was designed by the architect Vilhelm Dahlerup, who was also the man behind e.g. The Royal Theatre, the Glyptoteket, the Statens Museum for Art, the Hotel d'Angleterre and the Pantomime Theater in Tivoli.

NB: Café Søvilla is a "drop-in" café, so you cannot reserve a table in advance. But there is usually plenty of space, either outside or inside.
