Art for the little ones
We offer varying exhibitions that appeal to adults as well as children. The exhibition halls are found in beautifully renovated buildings from the health-resort era. Children and young people up till 25 are admitted free of charge. Read more about current exhibitions.

Borrow an audio guide
You can hear more about works, sculptures and other exhibits in the sculpture park, the sculpture hall and the exhibition about the history of the Silkeborg Vandkuranstalt in our audio guide, which you can borrow at the reception. There are versions for both children and adults.

Picnic in the park
In the Sculpture Park children are free to move in a splendid nature area with forest and lake. Here, you can enjoy your picnic in the beautiful scenery. The Sculpture Park is open all year and admission is free of charge.

Denmark's oldest preserved health-resort buildings
When you visit Silkeborg Bad, you have several opportunities of experiencing the exciting history of the location. Silkeborg Bad functioned as a health-resort for a hundred years. The buildings have been renovated to make the facades appear as they did back then and allow you to walk through history. In the Spa Building, there is a small permanent exhibition with pictures of the old health-resort.

Prams and changing table
There is a changing table in the Spa building, and prams can be brought through the house or parked indoors.

City bus no. 10 stops at Kroghsvej (by Lake Ørnsø) just 5 min. walk from Silkeborg Bad.
