The Culture and Leisure Committee of the municipality of Silkeborg supports the operation of the Art Centre Silkeborg Bad. An operational agreement with the Finance Committee governs the conditions regarding property maintenance. Therefore, an annual statement of accounts is submitted to the municipality of Silkeborg. The Art Centre Silkeborg Bad receives no subsidies from the Danish state.

Sources of revenue
Furthermore, the necessary revenues originate from several sources: Contributions and year pass purchases by the friendship circle "Friends of Silkeborg Bad", sale of admission tickets, sale of catalogues and other shop items, café activities, sale of guided tours and events, means from private funds and donations, project funds from public financing pools, sponsorships and to a lesser extent guest room rental.
