The Art Centre Silkeborg Bad has many cooperation partners, formal as well as informal. Read more about the formal networks and memberships under Network. Some relations of the institution have local community ties and others are national or international.  

Artists and curators
Absolutely central cooperation partners are the exhibiting artists and to some extent also curators from Denmark as well as other countries. Every single exhibition cooperation involves a comprehensive dialogue through the planning phase, followed by an equally important cooperation on the installation of the exhibition. From time to time, cooperations are entered into with representatives of groups of artists, e.g. exhibition associations or artists with a common project or a professional community.  

Exhibition cooperation
Whenever possible and relevant the institution continually involves itself in the preparation of exhibition tours on a national or an international level. This entails cooperation with other institutions or with artist organisations.   

Local cooperation
In Silkeborg we support local ambitions in connection with singular events or interdisciplinary or multi-aesthetic projects that are in line with the purpose of the institution and the institutional agreement with the Culture and Leisure Committee of the municipality of Silkeborg.

The Art Centre cooperates with the educational institutions of Silkeborg. Furthermore, we have continual cooperations with nature guides, scouts, choirs and several local actors in the music world.
